Jonathan Jackson Foundation was established in 2019 as a custodian for community change. One of our focus areas is economic empowerment through provision of job training and income generating opportunities targeting women and youth. We facilitate scaling up of projects ensuring tangible positive impact and accountability on ground for the communities and our partners.
With the current pandemic, we strongly felt the need to support the marginalized communities and thus started our #JengaJirani initiative. #JengaJirani is aimed at raising funds and seeking partnerships that will aid distributing various care packages of either food or sanitary(for girls) hampers to our vulnerable members in informal settlements in Nairobi. We are working closely with area chiefs & community officers to help us identify needy families.
We are working closely with NBCC providing support to the whole committee and specially to the WASH sub - committee in distribution of soap, sanitisers and hand washing stations.
