Rotary International is an international whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.It is a non-political and non-religious organization open to all.
In Kenya, Rotary District 9212 has partnered with the Government led Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund, the National Business Compact Forum and other stakeholders to address the needs and resource gaps that would hinder the aspiration to flatten the Covid-19 growth curve,effectively slowing down its spread within the population.
Some handwashing stations have been set up in Nairobi, Coastal and Western regions of Kenya. The assistance is provided with training on proper hand-washing techniques and other sanitization measures. Arrangements have also been made with the partners to ensure regular water supply.
